New Mexico Retirement Asset Protection Laws

In New Mexico, proceeds and profits from a pension or retirement fund are protected from creditors. Also protected are benefits under the Educational Retirement Act, Judicial Retirement Act, Public Employee Retirement Act, Magistrate Retirement Fund, and state police pension funds.
